PiggeryBrae - CHAS

proceeds from our CD have  gone to a charity dear to our hearts... its the Children's Hospice CHAS

.
.

.
Three of the band went along to Robin House, Scotland's second children's hospice opened in August 2006, to present them with £2000 from proceeds from our charity CD......

Your favourite webmaister couldn't manage along but the photo shows

April 2008 a further £1000 sent to CHAS
.

Robin House Children's Hospice has facilities to accommodate up to 8 families at any one time. In addition to offering all the services which Rachel House currently offers, Robin House has a specialist teenage unit. At present over 50 teenagers with life limiting conditions use the services of Rachel House. Like all teenagers their needs are very different to those of younger children. Likewise, they do not fit in to the adult hospice scene that focuses primarily on oncology conditions. CHAS has consulted with those teenagers who use Rachel House to create a facility that will readily meet their needs. Families who use Robin House will also benefit from a hydrotherapy pool
