A Scottish Folk 
Night wi' Burns 
           an evening of folk music, 
          humour, poems and patter 
                                               
Cambuslang Bowling Club. Burns/Scottish Night

Scottish Nicht wi Burns 
A very good evening is a 'Scottish nicht wi' Burns' ( which can be anytime of the year ) 
This is popular because we are not limited to singing only Burns songs...so Will ye go Lassie go, Skye boat song, Flower of Scotland etc can be sung.
   Note Why compete with other clubs in January/February? 
            Burns suppers can be celebrated anytime of the year..... any month

  A Scottish & Folk theme evening for your Club or Corporate event 
option A

  • Haggis fiddled in with our music & carrier (or with your own piper)

  • Toast tae the Haggis...oor resident Burns expert Kenny Wilson    

  • Meal

  • During coffee 'Holy Willie's prayer'

  • speeches and presentations if required

  • Drinks, Burns and Scottish songs and fun by Piggery Brae

  • raffle etc

  • the end ... Auld Lang Syne 

  Whats good about this is it is not a 'heavy' Burns night more a 'flavour' of Burns
  If required toasts can be incorporated into the evening
