THE SCOTTISH POPPY APPEAL:
The Earl Haig Fund Scotland was founded in 1921 with the aim of providing practical help in time of need to all who served in the Armed Forces and their dependants.
The Fund is a registered charity and the principal means of raising money is through the Scottish Poppy Appeal.
which takes place every November in the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday.
On this day services are held at war memorials throughout the country to pay tribute to the Fallen.
